How to delete Google Chrome's History in the right way
If you visit a website by accident or you do not want to save your browsing history in Google Chrome you can quickly delete it from your Android phone or from your desktop, and here's how to delete your Google Chrome browser history.

Android phones

Using your Android smartphone, open the Google Chrome browser and make sure you open at least one tab, then click the 3-point menu icon in the top right corner and select the record option.

From there, select the Clear Browsing Data text at the top of the screen, and you'll be taken to a new window that will help you not only delete your browsing history but also store cookies, cached images, and more.

First, choose a date range you'd like to delete, and you can choose between the last hour, last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 4 weeks, and all times, and suggest removing what you need for Chrome to continue recommending future websites you've visited in the past.

Select the item boxes you want to delete, and instead you can click the tab and then Advanced to find additional data that can be removed from your Google Account. When you're ready, select the "Clear data" button at the bottom of the screen to permanently delete your browser history.

Desktop PC

Deleting your Google Chrome browser's desktop history is almost identical to the process on your smartphone. First, click the 3-point menu button in the top right corner of the browser, hover over the record option, and then select Records at the top of the drop-down menu.

Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + h on the keyboard and open Chrome to run directly in the history menu, in the left sidebar, you'll see the option to clear browsing data, click it, you'll be taken to a new window, select the boxes of items you want to delete, From this you can click the Advanced tab to find additional data that can be removed from your Google Account, and when you're ready, select the "Clear data" button at the bottom of the screen to permanently delete your browser history.
